    Dream Figure

A dream of sweet innocence comes in a daze.

The twilight of the sky seems to fade.

A figure is seen but only in a haze.

The closer it gets only a shadow is made.

Pure love of the heart comes without fashion.

Soulful energy comes in a slow pace.

The figure is adorned with such a passion.

At the drop of a dime, it’s gone without a trace.

How eerie is this figure, yet captivating,

To hypnotize a creature with my deep mind.

I never thought sleep could be so motivating.

To sleep I go now for I have someone to find.

I love that song! This was one of my dreams and I simply wrote it in paper. Thanks for the comment. Feel free to explore my works!
