    unreal heaven

    I am stopping right here.

I’ve decided not to go on.

I’ve decided not to let the pain

    Have a chance.

The next chapter of my life

Will be the goodbye letter I write you.

This cloudy road we walked in such hurry

    Kept embracing unrealistic desires.

    It was too late.

    We couldn’t turn back, couldn’t

Enjoy. Parts of our life had passed.

The jasmine’s scent could not conceal

    My pain.

I will try not to look at

The sun’s brightness after cloudy mornings.

I will not try to search for

    That promising heaven.

I will try not to lament.

     “Life is callous, Life is

    Unintentional.” You said

“It’s impossible to reach for sunlight in gloomy dark nights.”

    You said many things.

I will try not to cry too much,

While looking at the sunset colouring the ships at sea.

I will try not to believe, believe in heaven.

The heaven where I was in love with you.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
