Two People Destined
Two people destined to be together,
Loving one another from now until forever.
Giving and taking in equal proportions,
Never giving in to other people’s distortions.
Knowing they share something few people ever do,
It is not something shiny and new.
It has been there between them for years,
Even after all the heartache and tears.
Two people destined to spend forever,
Loving each other and giving up never!
Through all the laughter and the tears,
For so many more years.
To treat each other like King and Queen,
To promise our love and never be mean.
To honor and cherish,
Until one or both shall perish.
Two people destined for eternity,
Loving our children in tranquil serenity.
Being a family despite negativity from outsiders,
Being the best parents and great providers.
Only wanting the best for all involved,
Just look at how he has evolved.
Getting off of the wrong path and heading to the right,
So we can be a family even if he has to fight.
Two people destined…
