Twilight
Twilight
Night, darkness, stillness surrounds the wilderness,
As coal fills the sky;
As light-specs gives light, as evil roams the streets,
As mysteries unfold, a wisp of air circled me,
A breeze flew past me and knocked the wind right out of me,
As my eyes regained focus a tree stood before me that stood enormous and mighty,
As the moon slowly lit up the sky,
The branches were like hands each one fell among me,
As it unfolded layers of sin undressed it,
Naked it stood before me and said here.
I stand naked the sins have been washed away,do you take me as I am,
Though feelings and emotions I saw you,
Though light I felt you, though scent I smelled you,
I closed my eyes, to hear if there was a heart beat,
And to my surprise it was a beat of a lion’s roar.
My body shook, I opened my hand to meet yours and felt the paw of a warrior.
Finally I saw eyes, it was no more a beauty of nature; but a human,
My eyes met yours; you pulled me tightly against you and kissed me,
Tenderly last night you were with me;
As the sun started to rise we realized,
We were running out of time and the moments we shared,
Would just be memories, wishing there were more time,
Though compassion we kissed though emotions we felt,
Though eye contact we saw that this was density,
My tongue seems as if it was yanked out no words could explain;
Twilight left the sky and so did you but as I rubbed the inside of my palm,
It read I forgive you………
