Try

I'm sitting here looking out the window once again,
My eyes grow tired from the tears running down my face.
Why do you give up before you even try?
Things can be good if you give it a chance,
But you've decided your fate without going on a journey.
You say you know how the real world is,
But my dear how can you know?
You stay away from socitey,
Never knowing the world in which we live.
Our future is now!
Together we can make it,
Take the first step with me.
We are strong, our love will help us survive.
You say love's not enough,
but let's give it a try.
Take the leap of faith,
Hold my hand,
Together we will fly.

all to often people are afraid to give things a chance and just "try" Never knowing what could be. this does not necessarily only include love and relationships.

Glad you enjoyed to summer. thanks for the feed back

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
