Touched by a teacher
If you were to die tomorrow,
Where would I stand?
Would I still be that same clueless person?
Or would I be a new man?
If you were to die tomorrow my life would fall apart,
There wouldn't be any place to put my broken heart.
All of the things we've done together,
All of the memories would last,
Remembering all of the good times,
While looking back upon the past.
If you were to die tomorrow my life would fall apart,
There wouldn't be any place to put my broken heart.
Well, it looks as if tomorrow has come,
As my eyes fill with water and my nose starts to run.
The clouds start to turn an unusual grey,
And everybody becomes filled with great sorrow and dismay.
There is not a person, who doesn't feel your absence in the air,
Your memorial comes, and the whole town is there.
As the ground floods with tears from friends and families eyes,
For the last time we feel your presence,
But forever you shall touch our lives.
If you were to die tomorrow my life would fall apart,
There wouldn't be any place to put my broken heart.
