    Poem Commentary

    It is crazy how much a friend can lift your spirit and make you feel better. This poem is for a great guy I met at college last year. I cannot wait to see him again! He is from Tennessee and he is quite the gentleman.

    ~To My Amazing Friend~

     Could this be more?
    More than a laugh
    More than a giggle
    Could there be something more for me
    Something like you?
    Your smile delights my soul
    Releases gladness untold
    Friend of mine
    'til the end of time
    You are all I see
    Smiles and laughs
    That make me drift into a reverie
    Watching you steal my heart
    Was quite scary
    In the start
    But now I know
    This is not some silly crush
    What will the future hold
    All that I know
    Is you make me believe
    When I am weary
    Laugh
    When I think I am bleeding
    You are my heart's desire
    When I am alone
    I can't wait to see you
    When we can be together again
    ~Until then, adios, my great, great  friend~
