    Poem Commentary

    I have been going through a lot of health problems for a little while now, and the doctors don't really know what it is. Lately, it has gotten a lot worse. For a couple of days, I thought I was going to die; I was terrified. I still am scared, but I just have to take it one day at a time. My life belongs to the Savior, and it is in the best hands ever. I have the greatest Physician on my side. His love will never fail. Praise the Lord- I love you!

    My Great God is Greater

     Through storms
    Through sadness
    Through clouds
    Through galdness
    My God is greater
    Through oceans of hurt
    Pain and hard times
    The sweet smile of God
    So quickly reminds
    Scary times will come
    Doubt and insecurity
    Health can fail
    Happiness soon pales
    But my God is greater
    His greatness oversees
    All the pain and suffering
    Anguish and catastrophes
    So fear will not stop me
    Foes will not matter
    Heaven awaits
    With Christ my Lord
    Just a glimpse of His mercy
    And His love's strong chord
    Everything on this earth
    Will soon be a mystery
    Every pain
    Doubt
    Worry
    My God is greater far
    Than all the pain from the world
    On that day with Jesus
    When everything will make sense
    Pain will not steal
    Just a glimpse of Jesus
    His limitless love that heals

    Your picture of his Greatness is a great testamony to our Lord. You are mouthing the obvious words that even the Heavens declare his praise. Wonderful job.

    Bons, this is a wonderful poem and I appreciate you sharing it!!! I can also testify that God is a good God!!! He is able to do anything but fail. We can ask of Him whatever we want, believing that we will receive it and we shall have whatever we ask. Just keep the faith for your healing, because by Jesus' stripes we were healed. You just need to claim it, then receive it and thank the Lord for your healing even before it manifests itself. I will be praying with you and for you, for your complete healing.     Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope all is well. Your poem is a good reminder that God is in charge, and will take care of us no matter how the outcome may look.
