    Thoughts

    There are so many things I'd like to say
    with my voice instead of my hand.
    So many things I want to say
    to make you understand;
    Understand how much I need you
    to wipe away my tears,
    to chase away these monsters
    and to love away these fears;
    But when I try to tell you
    the things I need to say,
    I look into those eyes of yours
    and my thoughts are washed away.
    I've so many things to tell you
    to let you know my heart
    is left with instant loneliness
    whenever you depart.
    I wish that you could hear me
    with all my words unsaid;
    that you could look into my eyes
    and read my heart instead.
    Then you would know without a doubt
    that what I feel is true;
    that I am here for nothing more
    than the fact that I love you.

    It is ironic sometimes how words just seem to fail to explain even the simplest feeling sometimes. Feelings just seem to exist on a higher plane. Most of them un-dictatable by the linear existence of words. Well expressed.

    The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

    Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
