    Thinking

    Thinking

Sitting in a room, all alone
Sitting on my bed, my thoughts grown
Just me and myself, me and my thoughts, alone

I'm thinking of all the ways I love you, my hearts alive. I'm thinking of our future together, it gives me drive. Your my reason, my life, my world. Until I hold you, I'll keep thinking.

The rain's pouring down, adds to my tears
I am truely confident, but I have fears
Ask me about my thoughts, you'll see my soul
Wish you were here, sitting with me, my world

    Thinking of you, your grace
    Thinking of us, our embraces
    Perfection, it's real
    True love, I feel

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
