    These Voices

    These voices inside
    Screaming their lies
    Who should live
    Who should die
    Must I hear you
    Or shall I cry?

    Why, Why, Why
    Why do I cry
    Why do I hear you
    You haunting voices inside

    I can't sleep without you,
    Am I losing my mind?
I can't stand to live with you
    But to live without you
    I don't know how

    Who are you, voices inside?
Are you me, or someone else?
    How is it you comfort,
    Why do you haunt?

    What are you saying,
    What do you want?
    Do I listen,
    Or do I run?

    Are you speaking, God?
Is it you who calls my name?
    Or is it others
    Others who call my name?

    All these voices
    calling my name
    I hear them telling me
    Their own way
But I choose to go my own

    Many try to tell me
    Tell me who I am
    But only I define
    Define who I am

    I silence the sounds
    I make my own mind
The only voice I listen to
    Is the Great I Am
    He knows who I am!

    Good-bye voices inside!

I think it was a cool piece on how the voices inside our minds can comfort us then confuse us.

This poem is so human and you capture those voices that we all have, some listen to them and some don't. at some point we all have them, it is your soul your inner you, listen to the voice of God Sheri, he talks to us and you will recognize when is him and when is others, he speaks clearly without confussion...

    Thanks!

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
