The wrong kind of right.

    The wrong kind of right.

You told me I read you wrong
That if given a chance you would make me strong.

You said I read to deep into shit,
You said, it didn't matter how quick you let me hit.

You said I'm judging you because, you got six kids
And that you have changed, from all the things I heard you did.

You said you good now, just give us a try,
You said I would regret it, If I let you pass me by.

You said you wouldn't cheat, and that you have left that all behind,
And It would be a great move, if I would decide to make you mine.

"Just give me a chance" you said " Just give me a chance and you will see"
How you could make me a better man, how you could make me happy.

So I listen to you, and committed, and you soon turned my days to night,
Althought I hate being wrong, This time what hurts is...

    I was right.

Ow, poke me in the eye brother! Lol Good job!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
