    Mary Ashley

In my eyes, The highest Prizes
    A man could ever have.

    The closest thing to heaven
    A man could ever grab.

    I've done the Math
And nothing adds up close to you.

Whatever it takes to make you happy
Is what I'm suppose to do.

I owe to you more then I could ever pay.
You mean to me More the I could ever Say.

Your name is the meaning of Divine
Even in my darkest of moments you are the reason I shine.

You are the highest Example of a woman's Strength
Destiny is your life, You are truly meant.

Someone like you, truly are godly
I know this because we once shared the same body.

And Above you is god, and then there is no Other,
I am truly proud, to say that your my mother.

    Love you Mary Ashley

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
