    The Warehouse

If you could find a way to gaze into my heart
You would find the place where my deepest feelings start
I still store feelings from my early childhood
Some are quite painful, yet some are quite good
My heart is like a warehouse for feelings I want to keep
Safely in front are feelings of you so I have them when I sleep
It took time for me to open up and let you look on in
But once you got by the front door you'll see just where I've been
Every emotion and feeling are clearly marked and set up on a shelf
When you look there's some you'll see but some are for myself
Trust is one that's hard for me, few have been down that aisle
Lately there's been lonliness that lasts a country mile
Love is the one that means the most and takes up all the space
So, if you could look inside my heart you'd surely see your face
