The Promise

The Promise

I'm writing you this love letter to let you know I'm sorry,
for the bullshit that I started, it wasn't even funny.

I'm going to get the help I need,
but I need the help from you too.

Until I see the doctor,
please help me get out of my bad moods.

I will do the same for you,
if you really want me to.

I really love you a lot baby,
so I'm going to make you a promise.

I promise you from here on out,
I'll be a better lover.

Well I hope that promise is fufilled. Too many promises in my life had been broken, so I believe in promises like the Tooth Fairy or Fairy Godmothers.

I enjoyed the poem Thank you

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
