    Mixed Up

So many faces, so many places,
Were all mixed up with a bunch or racists.

So many stuns, so many guns,
Were all mixed up with a bunch of thugs.

So many hangers, so many dangers,
Were all mixed up with a bunch of bangers.

So many thinkers, so many sayers,
Were all mixed up with a bunch of players.

So many slayers, so many haters,
Were all mixed up with a bunch of ganstas.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
