    the one i'll never know

I've seen your face a million times,
    i've touched your lips,
    stared into your eyes,
i've loved you for years now,
    seems like a lifetime,
yet i shall never know you.

    I've told you my story,
and you have read my book,
    i've felt your fingertips,
    you've given me those looks,
i've bitten my tounge for you,
    you have held my hand,
yet i shall never know you.

I've taken a stand for you,
    you've listened to me cry,
you my dear have even dried my eyes,
i've loved you for years now,
    seems like a lifetime,
yet i shall never know you,
    you stood in my door
    but wouldn't come,
so as i cry a tear i close the door,
trying not to know you any more.

yes daydreamer it is. to give u a better detail it's abt a man i've known since i was 10 n i've always had a crush on him. I think i started lovin him when i was 15 and then he dissappeared n i moved on in most places. he's always been 2 old for me but recently he came back into my life. I realized when i hugged him n he didnt wanna let go that not only did that feel amazing but i wasnt too young any more. we started hanhing out and he made a move. it was an amazing kiss and i spent the rest of the night curled up in his arms. But after that it's like he pulled back and then he told me he jus didnt know wut he cud offer me right now because of all the things that are going on in his life. I tried to be patient but i dont think it was going any where. It was really hard 2 let go but i finally just had 2 because it hurt 2 bad 2 talk 2 him and never what was coming next.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
