    The Moon

    A reflection of the Lord of the Heavens,
    She mirrors his virtues with the luster of cool, pristine water.

    Elegant reciprocation of his passion radiates calm clarity as it shines through her smile.
    Thus, fervent love is disclosed with an innocence forbearing corruption.

    Resplendent in the beauty bequeathed her by god,
    She holds silent discourse with darkness pervasive…
    Yet, beheld in contrast with the black of deception,
    Her deific nature burns with distinction.

    She is the Lady of the Night.

    She is our loving mother;
    Our gleaming moon.

    really like your work..good poem..

    The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

    Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
