The Leak
The Leak
I went out to my water pond one day
To relax and pass some time away
As I approached I discovered a leak
From the pond I longed to seek
So in a haste I went on a journey
Time was a wasting and I had to hurry
Poor fish I thought, don’t want them to freak
I’ll find the source of that troublesome leak
With my hands in the water I searched and sought
And as I did I pondered the thought
About the fish in the pond of what they must think
As my hand felt around in that over sized sink
For I am certain I heard a cry
From the little fish whom I call Small Fry
What is that thing in the water YIKES!!
It has moving tentacles, and causes me a fright
Don’t be alarmed said the big fish named hank
It’s just helping, it’s trying to fix our tank
That thing with the tentacles is a hand you see
It’s going to fix this troublesome leak for you and me
I continued to listen as I my hand found the trouble
And I fixed the bad spot right there on the double
I learned that day to not be afraid of talking fish
As I dipped my hand in their colossal water dish
And the moral of this story is….
There have been many hands in this world that have cared
They have dove in and gotten wet without regret or despair
So if you have a problem and there’s an answer you seek
Don’t be afraid to get wet and find the source of the leak
