An Ode To A Man Named Kage

An Ode To A Man Named Kage

I set at my keyboard and cried just now until tears ran down my face on both sides

The source of my emotions I received in a E-Mail from a man who in Kentucky Resides

You may ask how I know him just let me explain that and you will see

He is the one I’ll remember who so graciously gave of his time to me

You ask what we together may have done with our time

Well we sat at our keyboards and shared a poem or maybe even a rhyme

Most of you will know him by his screen name Kage

If you ever took the time to comment on his poetry and make in him a friend you would not be able to measure the value of it even if there was such a gauge

My Dear friend Kage even though I have never meet you in person I will always remember you as the man with his dove

Those who know you as a friend here at Original Poetry will also remember you as a man who thru his poetry and friendship has shown them his love

Best wishes on your journey may the Spirit Of God descend upon you like the dove and bless you and your family with his love.  God Bless  Randy LeBrun

Wow, What a touching tribute Bikeman. I admit I teared up while reading this piece, and I had to read it several times. Rarely have I read words which exuded such raw emotion. It was very touching. With the Doves, may he go fly...and arrive on time, for that great gig in the sky. -Spence

In the short time I knew Kage he was a very wonderful man to talk to here at OP. His conversations where very meaningful and he had a big heart. If you enjoyed this you should read some of my other poems as well. God Bless Randy

Thank You God Bless Randy

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
