The Landscape Artist
I sift through Sable sands of time
And stare at Emerald trees
See how they look like dancers
Flowing gently with the breeze?
Bestowed by Sapphire waters
With halos glittering bright
Like Diamonds how they twinkle
As the Golden sun ignites.
I watch the Pastel flowers
Blooming in the Spring of day
The rain lets down its teardrops
To wash the wilt away.
Crystal mountains seek the clouds
And yet I wonder why
They need no gloom or fogginess
To show the passers-by.
I am the landscape artist
Who stares at Emerald trees
And Sapphire lakes and halos
Beneath the Golden sea.
I know that all this beauty
Is not meant for only me
That's why I am the artist
So that everyone can see.
And stare at Emerald trees
See how they look like dancers
Flowing gently with the breeze?
Bestowed by Sapphire waters
With halos glittering bright
Like Diamonds how they twinkle
As the Golden sun ignites.
I watch the Pastel flowers
Blooming in the Spring of day
The rain lets down its teardrops
To wash the wilt away.
Crystal mountains seek the clouds
And yet I wonder why
They need no gloom or fogginess
To show the passers-by.
I am the landscape artist
Who stares at Emerald trees
And Sapphire lakes and halos
Beneath the Golden sea.
I know that all this beauty
Is not meant for only me
That's why I am the artist
So that everyone can see.
