    this is actually a short song i was making up but decided it is a pretty good short poem. :)

    The Downside of Watching Life Pass By

    I've seen,
    I've seen people
    who have loved
    and lost...

    I've seen,
    I've seen people hurting
    but they keep it all down...

    I've seen,
    I've seen families
    torn apart,
    put together,
    and then...

    I've seen,
    I've seen
    wars start
    and end again...

    I've seen,
    yes I've seen Life....
    Oh what a life...

    That last stanza really sums it up. It's very important to go out and do all you can with your life before it's too late. Good Stuff. And I see what you were talking about with the poem structure. (;
