    Test of Eloquence

    Substances now wasted
    Reminder of what we've tasted-
    There's too much humor
    in these waters.

    A private art of alchemy
    a stench of creativity-
    There's so much relief
    in these muddy waters.

    A humane calculation
    of sewage and salvation-
    Time is of the essence
I must make it to the water.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
