Tell Someone Now
I cry for the little girl
Bruised and alone
Her Mama hits her every day
And her Daddy's gone
Look at my grave
My soul screams from within
Tell someone NOW
Don't pay for their sin
I cry for the little boy
Who's hungry and cold
No blanket on his bed
Just a teddy bear to hold
Look at my grave
I was just like you
Tell someone NOW
You know what to do
I cry for the children
Beaten and abused
Haven't you had enough
Of being hit and used
Look at my grave
See my tortured face
Tell someone NOW
You could be in my place
Talk to a teacher
Or to a trusted friend
Stop the abuse right now
Let the hurting end
Look at my grave
I hid my bruises well
I promised in my heart
I would never tell
I hid in the darkness
Afraid of the light
Don't be like me
Stand up and fight
Tell someone NOW
You have a life to give
It's too late for me
But I want you to live
