Sun Bond
Have you ever thought you were in a dream,
Only to realize this was just a horrifying scream;
You thought life was good,
You were living how you believed you should;
Only to awake,
And realize it was your soul they wanted to take;
How can you go on,
Without any kind of bond;
To any one,
And then they take your son,
How are you expected to live,
Your only hope is for a way to give;
To pray that you escape the feeling,
But always knowing of the constant ring;
Of the Devil dragging you in,
But your constant love is not a sin;
So hold on to what remains,
And remember life is full of pains.
Only to realize this was just a horrifying scream;
You thought life was good,
You were living how you believed you should;
Only to awake,
And realize it was your soul they wanted to take;
How can you go on,
Without any kind of bond;
To any one,
And then they take your son,
How are you expected to live,
Your only hope is for a way to give;
To pray that you escape the feeling,
But always knowing of the constant ring;
Of the Devil dragging you in,
But your constant love is not a sin;
So hold on to what remains,
And remember life is full of pains.
