Strange Thoughts
What if god lived thugged out?
And every time he said a prayer, he bust slugs out.
Hoping, and begging, and pleading for a different route.
Someone out there in the world understands what I’m talking about.
And what if satin was your best friend?
But every time you closed your eyes you felt no pain man.
And every thought that you had was an evil sin.
Somebody wants to possibly tell me how a person like that could win.
And what if Jesus never died for us?
What if he ran away and left us for a taste of lust.
Didn’t bare the cross, but lefts us to our own dusk.
Anyone still believes his punishment was just.
What if we didn’t get a second chance?
What if we were force to walk a mile in god’s pants?
What if we could hold the power that’s in god’s hands?
Who out there thinks that they could fill his powerful stance?
Some times I sit and think strange things.
I close my eyes and breathe slowly to hear the birds sing.
But all I hear is destruction, then the sirens ring.
It makes me wonder if my thoughts are as strange as they seem.
