    Stirrings of love

    Ribbons of pink
    tumble from your hair
    how the stirrings of
    love conquer me
    my hand upon your thigh
    my breath on your neck
    silken hair in my hand
    the feeling so delicious
your sweet nector draws me near
    a hummingbird suspended in flight
we stand watching the morning sun
your smell intoxicating makes me sigh
    my mind races with thoughts
    of your sensual treasures
my hand is under your robe
I have found the source of your fire
it warms me and calls me home

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
