    SOME WOMEN

After reading some rather distressing auratories on men, it gave me the spark I needed to take up the pen, and write some distressing stuff about women, again

I am sure that this poem
    will catch me some flak
so perhaps you guys can chime in
    and cut me some slack

WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT 'SOME'  WOMEN

Like women with costly boob jobs
who think they're 'all that' not knowing
that for most men, feeling some silicone
    is really not'where its at'

Or the blonde I took out on some date
who asked me if I knew that
''Paul McCartney was in a band before wings'', as well as other such 'idiotic' things

Or the wife who sleeps with 29 blankets
    in the summer season
and when you dare to protest
    she won't listen to reason

The women who are always cold
and bye the way, so are their hearts
with a woman like that, where on earth do you start?

Or the ones who say, they know everything under the sun
and criticize nearly all that you've done
that sure does'nt sound like much fun

Or the ones who won't give you any info
    and say what they want
your just supposed to 'figure it out'
    like some sort of savant........

And the wife who wants the house remodeled, for sixty thousand bucks
yet, you're not 'allowed' that new shotgun, to go shoot some ducks

How about the one who lies
about the bills she 'did'nt' pay,
but always has lots of your money
    to go gamble and play

Or the old girlfriend who stole, wasted or spent all of your bread,
then when she's through with you
    just wishes you were dead

alas, you work and you toil and
pay those bills without a hitch
    yet they gripe and complain
    like some spoiled little witch

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
