IT MIGHT HAPPEN (random thoughts, half finished)

IT MIGHT HAPPEN, yeah right....

Perhaps a thousand years from now, in a different lifetime, on a different planet.
I might not have to slave my life away, doing work I really hate. I could come back and be wealthy.
                              yeah right....

In some other dream, some other time, in a different dimension. Where as of yet, I've not lost my mind. Where every day is Saturday, and there is no such thing as working your life away. And I could do just as I wanted.

All I really wanted was a cabin by a lake, in the mountains.
With no more work to do, a pickup truck and a dog, that would be nice too, with enough food and supplies to see me through. And I almost forgot, I would also need a canoe.

And in that cabin by a lake, snuggled safely in a  pine grove, I'd also need a  woodstove. A cabin in the pines, on a high plateau, by a small lake with a meadow.
A place hidden away and peaceful,  where no one else would go.

A cabin with three rooms and a loft for sleeping. Nearby, a crystal clear spring, with ice cold water, just right for drinking.
But then again, i know just what you might be thinking. That before he started to write, this guy must have been drinking......

No, I was'nt. But sometimes I believe I should.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
