Solitude

    Solitude

I no longer fear the darkness

For solitude seems to be my only friend

We sit and reminisce about the days of old

The days when I was afraid of being alone

But now i've found that solitude is a far greater friend than any

    Solitude doesn't judge

Solitude doesn't remind me of my many failures

    Solitude only consoles me

Solitude surrounds me with an ever so cold but understanding embrace

An embrace that only a loved one would be capable of

And that is why tonight I will join solitude in loving darkness forever
