    Solitude

    I have found serenity in loneliness;
    the solitude has given me peace.
    As I strive to mend my broken heart,
    and make your memory cease.
    I still long to hold you,
    to have you in my life.
    Still yearning to be with you,
    and have you for my wife.
    I can't explain these feelings,
    or why they're still so strong.
    I can't force you from my thoughts,
    even though I know they're wrong.
    So I’ll just keep myself to me,
    and try my best to cope.
    Solitude is so much easier,
    once you've lost all hope.

    I JUST LOVE IT.eVEN THE READING OF IT BROUGHT A FEELING OF CALM RESIGNATION.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
