Closed for Repairs
Closed for repairs
the sign is on my heart
there's so much I have to do
but just where do I start
I'll build a high and mighty wall
to keep the world at bay
then begin the rebuilding
taking things, day by day
There is no need to hurry
I have nothing left but time
It's not like I can do this
while you're still on my mind
When your memory has faded
I can finally start repairs
and pray for that special day
I will find someone who cares
the sign is on my heart
there's so much I have to do
but just where do I start
I'll build a high and mighty wall
to keep the world at bay
then begin the rebuilding
taking things, day by day
There is no need to hurry
I have nothing left but time
It's not like I can do this
while you're still on my mind
When your memory has faded
I can finally start repairs
and pray for that special day
I will find someone who cares
