    Shatterproof

I saw the water swallowing my last breath
life was sipping me like sweet wine
Time walked away with the most beautiful legs
and left my staring eyes behind
Darkness seemed to caress my legs
as I ran against the wind
My sins presented laughter to my face
each time that a moment of you blossomed in me again
Here is temptation kissing my voice
her slow grinding strokes are taking me there
But I feel your love pulling my attention
asking me to stop and begin to compare
To remember when our love was shatterproof
to remember when spring was our season
when fidelity didn't need a reason
    The shadow on the wall
    was telling it all
showing the true nature of this being
    and I was honestly seeing
I was seeing night kissing day
I saw us and forever staring face to face
I was seeing goodness in my reflection
I saw myself still in love with you...

Great Title! What A beautiful Love Poem ...I could see this In A Movie!! Excellent Poetry as always!! And I love the way You drifted back to Your Lover!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
