Realizing
How many of us take the time to think about the moments that we grow up?
To stop and realize the difference between the man of moments ago and the man of right now
The moment that you choose not to try to be cool but start doing the right thing and be cool.
It's embarrassing when you realize that all this time you have been a fool.
You played the part of an asshole for so long that you actually became that person.
You let the fantasy person become your reality
Your mind played tricks on you
While you were taking the time to belittle people
God was making you small in front of all those people
And you are just now seeing what these people have been seeing your whole life
Well maybe not your whole life but for the last 10 years
And now that you realize that you have nothing
It makes you think about all the things you did
and said to people
that have come back to slap you right in the face
It becomes easier for you to understand the reason that you smoke
weed
It makes it right for you to smoke weed even when the government tells you that it's not right to smoke.
You smoke because it brought you to that moment...
that moment of truth between you and yourself.
You looked at yourself and began to examine
the direction of your life and the direction that you have just come from
To think about your value of people in your life and their value of you
It's sad to realize that the value of all that adds up to little or nothing
You just wanna grab all those moments back out of the hands of the past and make them better for the future steps of your son and daughter
The path that you would now prepare for them wouldn't have them exhausted when they became President of the United States
Your kids would speak of you not from pain and hatred
but from love and undeniable joy!
It's not too late.
God forgives all
Everyone is entitled to keep trying
until the fat lady starts singing.
So in the mean-time, between time
Stay real my brother
Pray my brother
Let God lead your way
and become that Better Man
