Saved

She sat there oblivious to reality tormented by her mind
Is it possible that one can loose sanity so quickly
Or had she been hovering over the edge for years
She saw the kindness through his eyes and attached herself to him
He became her reality and through him she lived
Until her mind healed her body ached
And those unbelievable hypnotic eyes that she sat dazingly staring at
They left her
Empty now of every pleasurable existing hope they vanished so quickly
Really who was he
Who are you she onced weakingly cried
Now knowing
He wasn't anyone
Not in this life
And no doubt
They will meet again

There is a domain of the supernatural. Not everything there is benign. The name of Jesus is still powerful to protect and to save. This read leaves a sense of disturbing vulnerability.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
