    Rhyme With A Reason

    Blood rains
    But never seems to stain
    The ground is not soft
    Yet it keeps me aloft
How dark is the heart of man
Oh, darker than anything in all the land
    Blacker than the blackest black
So black is there no turning back
Has this lyrical ballad any reason
Or is it just written in line with the season
    The season of one’s soul
That seems to be one big hole
Now that this heart’s cry is done
    Please enjoy the sun

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
