Reality

                                             Reality

Mere words mean nothing

If not expressed from the heart

What about the jealousy

That keeps us apart

It blindfolds our mentality and causes deceit

Because there’s a lack of communication

Tenaciously increasing the heat

When we open our eyes, not the ones that can see

We become enabled to view our own misunderstandings

And the I becomes we

Lets’ not be perplexed at all that’s around

Keeping it together trying to hold steady ground

Allowing our thoughts to marinate, not gravitate

Holding our own inabilities

Still we hesitate

On everything that beholds

While the world continue to roll and develops mistrust

All that turns a half into a whole captivates us

Personalities differ

We’re different

However still consistent

With our own ideas and reflection

There is no objection

To what you hold in the palm of your hand

When the knowledge overwhelms

And you then understand

What it means to be less than

Finding other ways to comprehend

Diminished possibility

Losing sight of who I supposed to be

Knowing everything belongs to me

With my pen to the paper

My thoughts become reality.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
