Infinite
My existence,it’s too complex….
I’ve got life in the past9.
Life in the future
what make this so peculiar?
Is that I’m in between
With my eyes open, not awake
I still insist and persist to resist
The fake admiration that exists
I take a closer look at the unexpected truth
Of a troubled man
FAIR SKIN, BROWN SKIN
ALL KIN
Making a stretch on the mark to the promise land
And I still don’t understand~ why
I’m fighting my own dreams- not nightmares
All the pain that the past has brought
It’s not my ancestors’ fault
That a mind gets wasted
Having tasted----life and thoughts
I motivate my cerebral cortex
And deviate from what the world expects
It’s 6pm and I still ain’t got a paycheck
chasing hope, chasing dreams, chasing dope, completed the scheme
Stealing my own identity
As if there is no--- thing
But the constant thinking shall bring
Momentary sweetness-the sun still shines
But it has no rays
I’m cognizant of tomorrow
Angry about yesterdays
Tenaciously clinging to the optimism that overrides my soul
I lose control
Mind open to the idealism that I face
Realism that I erase
But willing to keep the stride steady pace
With my pen I write
With my mind I battle
I fight
Sometimes my eyes can’t see when they’re open yet gazing so deeply when closed
I’m reminiscing on deferred ambitions and goals
I am not willing to break the stride steady pace
If we keep pressing toward this mark we’ll win this RACE
Fair skin
Brown skin, light skin, dark skin
When the outside is looked within
Fair skin, brown skin, light skin, dark skin,
Your skin my skin
ALL kin
