    QUEENS/KINGS

AS I OPEN MY EYES I SLOWLY BEGAN TO REALIZE
THAT I MYSELF AM AN ANGEL IN DISUISE..AND YET A QUEEN
AND LIKE R.KELLY SAID I DO BELIEVE THAT I CAN FLY
...RIGHT OUT THESE WINDOWS OF THIS TURMOIL FILLED LAND
WHERE THE DEVIL TAKES OVER THIS SO CALLED BLESSING OF A MAN
AND WHO IS HERE TO CHANGE THAT MAN?I STAND TO SAY..I BELIEVE I CAN
FOR A QUEEN LIKE ME HOLDS THE GROUND FOR A KING
AND FOR HIS SAKE I CAN AND WILL ALWAYS DO ANYTHING..
FOR WITHOUT A QUEEN, A KING WILL FIND MANY IMPORTANT THINGS.. UNKNOWN
HE CAN NEVER IN THESE TIMES, STAND AND HOLD THINGS UP ALONE
BUT TODAY I SIT AND WATCH AS MANY OF OUR "MEN/KINGS" CHOOSE BY TO THEIR QUEENS TO HURT
AND TO THE ONES OF THE SAME ETHNICITY HE TREATS AS IF THEY ARE WORTH LESS THAN DIRT
& WITH A LITTLE POWER HE SEEMS TO FORGET WHERE HE CAME FROM
AND HOW MANY CONFLICTS HIS PEOPLE HAD TO OVERCOME..FROM GETTING NOTHING TO AT LEAST GETTING SOME
SEE THIS IS THE TURMOIL IN WHICH OUR KINGS FALL VICTIM TO
AND WITH HIS QUEEN WHOM HE DOWNED SO MANY TIMES GONE..HE HAS NO CLUE..OF WHAT HE SHOULD DO
THEY HAVE NO GUIDENCE WITHOUT "US" TO KEEP HIM ON A PATH THAT IS CLEAN
SO TELL ME WHAT WOULD THEY DO WITHOUT A WIFE.A SPOUSE..AKA A QUEEN
THEY WILL MURDER, BETRAY AND RAPE THEIR OWN KIND.
ND TO WHOM THEY ARE REALLY HURTING..THEY SEEM TO FALL BLIND
KINGS DONT REALIZE THAT THEY ARE HURTING  THEIR OWN MAN
SO ONCE AGAIN TO ANSWER THE QUESTION..WHO IS HERE TO CHANGE THAT MAN??I WILL STAND AND SHOUT.."I KNOW I CAN"

"I DONT KNOW WHERE THIS CAME FROM I JUST TYPED IT HOW IT CAME SHOOTING OUT OF MY MIND..IF IT DOESNT MAKE SINCE..IM SO SORRY.LOL"

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
