*POEM TO MY GRANDDADDY*

Life is a ticking time bomb, Just waiting to explode
And when it does, life ends and all memories erode

of the loved ones who lived who's lives have been taken

Leaving many here to grieve, with hearts broken, souls shaken

There are many spaces empty, and now many to be filled
and now were sitting here, missing you, waiting to be healed

even though we all miss you, and wish that you were here

we know you in a better place and you don't have to shed a tear

now your family cries for you and we carry on your pain

and we do this because we love you and you kept us all sane

and to your soul i give my heart because your heart gave up on you

now my heart doesn't just beat for one, It is now beating for two

now its too late to go back and now i feel so alone
But I think back on the times we had and love you've always shown

and in you arms you have always allowed me to cry

so I guess it was best that in my arms you would die

I love you as my father and in my heart you will always stay

and to see you again is what I'm waiting for and will always pray

Luther Vandross wrote that song, in which now i say is for you

And hundreds Love that song and wish that it would come true

To dance with you is my dream and it would be my honor

It would mean  the world to me because you are my love, and you are

MY FATHER

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
