Poetry
In the case of people who think that poems
Are only words for rhyming,
I feel that I have to express that poetry is spellbinding
It's not the words that make the poem
But the passion put into it
You have to feel what you are writing
Otherwise you are do nothing but casual rhyming
Why do you think that the greatest poets
Are the ones whose poems meant something?
It's not because of the carefully worded lines
Or even the cleverly rhyming phrases,
It's because they had a passion for something
And they had to write it down for us to read
So please next time you read a poem
Or even a loud opinion
Think about the passion that went into the piece
Instead of just being judgmental.
