Biography
I am complicatedly-simple for starters. I see myself as neither heads nor tails, but that thin, ridged outer-edge of the flipped coin, the part that many ignore, but the element that joins the two sides together just the same. I was born in Brooklyn NY, but moved to the Deep South when I was very young. I am the fifth child of six children and the third son of four. My poems' content tends to go from one extreme to another so, there is no set subject that you will see with me, no pattern. I write what I see, what I feel, what I empathize/sympathize, what I love, what I hate. Growing up in the South, but at the same time having Northern roots and sentimentalities, shaped a lot of my writing and thinking. My personality seems to be a melding of the two, so neither you nor I ever know where I may go on a topic. So, when you read me, keep an open mind, and look deeper than just the surface. You might just see yourself in the depths of my reflection.
