Pink Snowflakes

In the cold my arms trembled... I cough, and watch pink snowflakes float away.
No longer able to feel the cold I tried to catch the pink snowflakes.
I missed.
I fell.
And I wept.

This is a profound piece of verse; ephemeral is the word I think I'm looking for. So much untold... makes it all the more compelling.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
