    Peace

When will all this turmoil cease
The chapped nature and life where
Unbelivable attention is to the unimportant
    As ceaseless global carnage rages

    Endless guilt entrapped in men
Consious of the lack of conscience
Carping criticism at matters of no importance
While dwelling in midst of holocaust

    Deliverance difficult but feasible
As to when, unknown to no man
A finish, there must be to this
    Again, when,no one can tell

    Let man not be craven
As the crave for peace uplifts
    That which beget living
Until then we wither and decay

Let"eureka" be the shout of solution
    As evil around burns out
    And hidden danger dwindle
And man lives a lively living

Not quite metrical, but communicates the theme. Good message - man's search for peace of mind. I like it.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
