Paradise of Serenity

Poem Commentary

I know it is short, yet it is one of my favorites. I can see myself on that beach all alone staring out at the ocean. It leaves me with a warm feeling.

Paradise of Serenity

Golden sand under my feet, salt water grasping my gown to my body, an ever lasting sky of peach and lavender, fields of ebony rising and falling, leaves  whirling around me like the wings of an angel. My paradise of serenity.

Mom I LOVE YOU! This poem and all the rest sound so amazing just like you

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
