Inspiring Young Woman

Looking in the mirror I see to my surprise a completely different person staring deep into my eyes.
The care free little girl I saw at four and five, has now become a young woman fighting to survive.
In a world filled with madness that surrounds me everyday, its frightening to think I could be killed for what I say.
Remembering a time so long ago filled with baby dolls, swing sets, and water parks, a time when I didn't care about others remarks.
Looking in the mirror what I see looking back at me is the face of an inspiring young woman where the little girl use to be.

not bad. I know the computer might cheat you and make it looks jumbled. This is a very great poem but try always to make a stronger conclusion. love it

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
