    Out and in Love

I can't explain how much pain I'm in
But I would do it all again
Just to feel love's first bite
To take a chance that I might
Find someone who loves like me
Who would give his all, that's how love should be

I would take my shattered heart,
Mend it together, and give him the part
Where love, and hope, and passion reside
Then hope he would take it, and not hide
All the love we felt inside
Take my love and give me pride

I think I've finally found someone
Who knows that love shines like the sun
To try and hide we wouldn't dare
They'd see it in the way we share
Each others heart with love and care
A bond so deep beyond compare.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
