One Way Road

One Way Road

Everything feels lost
The world is cold

Death is a dying cost
Our world seems to unfold

The part that hurts the most
Is a one way road

We make a toast
As we carry our one last load.

Knightpoems - I like this - it makes me think. It can mean many different things and fit many situations. Only one spelling error ... "wold" - I assume it is suppose to be "world" - I do not take off points for spelling, but there are many that do. Just thought I'd point it out. Still a nice job. :) Ken

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
