Freedom of Death

Freedom of Death

I got my head in the clouds
Yet my heels are on the pavement

Getting lost in the crowds
Wandering how i've made it

People fighting to be proud
Staring in amazement

People yelling real loud
Death is like enslavement.

Very nicely written. Powerful imagery and the flow and rhyme are exceptional. Best out of the 5 poems posted! Great job! :) Ken

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
