Now a Days
She's leaving me soon
And the moon seems dimmer;
No stars,
No light,
And my nights don't glimmer.
My perceptions are different
When it rains now a-days;
To be happy is to forget,
To not see her smiling face.
I lay in this bed
Befuddled and dazed;
She seems so happy
To leave now a-days.
My pain,
My punishment
Is to breathe on this earth;
Will she often miss me
Like I'll often miss her?
It hit me so hard--
God, my saddened visage.
My love is leaving--
She's going away...
And the moon seems dimmer;
No stars,
No light,
And my nights don't glimmer.
My perceptions are different
When it rains now a-days;
To be happy is to forget,
To not see her smiling face.
I lay in this bed
Befuddled and dazed;
She seems so happy
To leave now a-days.
My pain,
My punishment
Is to breathe on this earth;
Will she often miss me
Like I'll often miss her?
It hit me so hard--
God, my saddened visage.
My love is leaving--
She's going away...
